This patient wanted an upper denture but was concerned that it would be loose.
All the upper teeth were removed except for three. Root canals were performed on the remaining teeth and "anchors" were placed.
The upper denture is made so that it clips into the anchors. He now has a very secure and well-fitting denture that allows him to eat almost any food he likes.
This patient had a severe underbite that was caused by improperly positioned upper and lower dentures. His lower partial denture was also very loose.
After the the two lower canine teeth were extracted, implants were placed. A new upper and lower denture were made with a proper bite relationship. The implants attach to the lower denture and prevents it from becoming loose.
